I remember driving through Hartford the weekend that he imposed an Income Tax. He had to be surrounded by State Troopers. People had their cars decorated like a wedding with "Just Screwed" on the trunk. Weiker is the most hated man in CT.

I can't believe that this bloated pig is still alive. I'm sure that he's still brain dead. Has anyone checked his pulse? Or, can't they find a vein through all that fat?

"Weiker is the most hated man in CT"

The liberals LOVE him, Weiker is the patron saint of Tax and spend. They want him to run against Joe....

Weicker was the only Republican I can remember voting against -- that was the same election I voted for the only Democrat I ever voted for (Joe Lieberman). Weicker is worse than Licoln Chafee or almost any other RINO you can think of. Despite Lieberman's stupid renouncing of his principles during 2000, he's still a much more honest guy than Weicker (and any other Democrat that I can think of).

If I had to choose between Weicker and Mephistopheles, well it would be a tough choice.

I was there. We hung the "LiarWeicker" in effigy. It's also when I moved out of CT for good.

CT Weicker basher here also! And proud of it. Not only is he obnoxious AND a far left liberal, but he is quite an elitist. When he was a Republican he did nothing but denounce conservatives and insist his way was the right way. He demanded that the conservative majority bend to his will. When the conservative Jim Buckley won the primary for US senator in 1980, Weicker refused to endorse him! Even though it was the GOP rank and file that chose Buckley. Weicker insisted only moderate Republicans could win in CT. Plenty of moderates have run and almost all of them have lost.

Weicker should just shut his mouth at this point.

This is the Democrat Party's way of bringing Lieberman down after his statement on the war in Iraq. Next thing you know they will be calling Joe Lieberman a "Neanderthal","Oreo" or a "Uncle Tom". How about them Dems!

__________

Here's what an American high school diploma gets: "...Would You Vote for Him?"

Which one? Weicker, or Joe?

Weicker is 74. There are still plenty of reasons to hate him:

"'I think George W. Bush is the worst president we ever had,' Lowell Weicker told me recently. 'I was on Nixon’s case because of his disdain for the Constitution, but Bush can stand right next to Nixon on that.'

"The interviewer is Dick Ahles, whose columns appear in the Lakeville (Connecticut) Journal. This one is called "Patriot Act Promotes Fears for American Justice."

"Weicker has an unusually good perspective from which to speak. As a wealthy WASP Republican senator from Connecticut (like George W. Bush’s grandfather), he sat on the Watergate Committee that investigated Richard M. Nixon.

"Weicker later quit the Republican Party and won the governership of Connecticut as an independent. Now he works for public health as president of the Trust for America’s Health.

"Most of the Lakeville Journal column is about Weicker’s opposition to the "Patriot" Act, but I thought you’d want to know that the old gentleman ranks George W. Bush 43rd among the 43 American presidents. I’m glad to be reassured on this point, as I’m a little shaky on the Rutherford Hayes and Millard Fillmore administrations." http://badattitudes.com/MT/archives/000588.html

I am aware of that and I dont believe it but stranger things could happen. Lieberman will have to go somewhere, everyone knows the Democrats do not allow their party members to disagree with each other in public. Hilliary would probably get the same treatment if she were not a female and they, the Dems, really believed her. She can say what she likes because she is the standard bearer and they know if she is elected the real Hilliary will step forward.
