Dean didn't specify which country the US forces would deploy to, but he said he would like to see the entire process completed within two years.

Unless I am missing something the coalition is now building up the nation's political, court, economic and security to make Iraq a strong country. Yes there are terrorists, bandits and insurgents that need to be dealt with and that is coming along just fine with the new Iraqi army coming on board.
What, you mean like when we fought a long war and never lost a major battle, but where the weak-willed defeatists (from your party) at home snatched defeat from the hands of victory?

How about we do this the President's way. Stick around until the 72,000,000 Iraquis who want democracy get to make it happen, and the 5-10,000 insurgents are all pretty dead. Then, unlike in Vietnam, our veterans will come home knowing that their sacrifice was NOT IN VAIN.
