I was sooo livid when I saw this on Fox and Friends this morning. How evil that person is!

Are there addresses for the others? I'll send a card to every one!!
Meant to add or are the addresses the same??
What's with the Green Day reference? Did the band have something to do with this?
Christmas cards with "thank you for defending our freedoms" and prayers for their recovery going out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads-up.

"This was the only card on his wall."
Why even put that card on the wall? Doesn't make sense. If I ever have a quadruple bypass and receive a card from someone who hopes my heart explodes during surgery, it better not end up on the wall.
Not too sure about that. I guess Green Day must have one of their rotten songs out against the troops.
Probably gives him resolve to spite this person and get better!
"Wake Me Up When September's Over" is a caustic anti-war song as are many of the songs featured on their latest album. Sadly, I like the music, per se, of Green Day, but this kind of politicking grates deeply.
Can't any of those people spell?
All I know is that whoever is behind this ought to be horse-whipped. I liked the idea I read online today of walking this miscreant (whoever he turns out to be) through the severe wounds ward to show this POS what folks are going through to protect his "First Amendment Rights."
My wife's cousin spent some time at WRMC earlier this year (his tent got bombed in Iraq), and I could only imagine how he would have felt had this happened to him.
Truely amazing the levels that some "people" would stoop to in order to make their silly little points.
No doubt this is from one of those peace loving folks who are against the war but support our soldiers.
Indeed.
I'll be sending greetings to all listed.
I agree with you. But I seem to think this young man will have a happy ending to this story.
I am not sure about his injuries, but I think Americans will rally around him and erase the hate from the left.
I must be missing something -- what Green Day reference are you talking about?
It doesn't show up in the excerpt, but it shows up on the link to the Fox news story. There are no other references to it in the story and I wondered if it was a typo. I knew Green Day is very liberal and anti-Bush, but I was wondering if they had done something more egregious recently, perhaps connected to this hatemail.
