That's true, but Fred Barnes has a good item in today's Weekly Standard that the President after the election decided not to politicize the war. The last few weeks have changed his mind and now we are seeing the results.I think that's part of it, but I also believe that people are finally noticing, in spite of all the caterwauling in the media to the opposite, that gasoline prices have come down significantly and that the economy is actually in pretty good shape.
