Fifty-two percent (52%) of Americans Disapprove of the President's performance.

Here's the link to Fred's article. The language used is Fred's and I will let him defend himself.

I am not going to argue about language as I think that you and I agree that it's right for the President to stand up for the War and the troops

Apologies. I misread Fred.

They did not change for "no reason". The president finally came out and fought back with a couple of very strong speeches. This rise is the result.

Exactly it's as simple as that. He needs to explain the war regularly, and the economy--that's the only way to get it out in the LSM.

It's also getting harder for the MSM to put a negative spin on the economic numbers.

It's very important for the President to get the message out, but I am very skeptical that the HBM will pick it up. I am still waiting for them to pick up on Joe Lieberman's support of the GWOT.

This report came from Rasmussen, but it'll be a cold day in hell before the lame stream media reports good numbers for GWB.

So, cince we've heard the last about sinking poll numbers they'll act like it never existed, they never said it, and if they did say it, it was only because President Bush is a doody-head. /sarc

Kind of like when they were trying to say the sky was falling with gas prices..now that they came back down, nothing.

They'll find something else to whine about soon. They always do.

Get Zogby on the line, he's asleep at the wheel. Some Liberal is going to get axed today for letting good news get out.

There will be a CNN/USA Today poll out ASAP to dispute this poll.

You are right to be sceptical, but this is exactly the reason the blogsphere world exists. Freepers, bloggers, etc. are here to call the bluff of the media elites. For example, look what bloggers did to the Dan Rather lie. Holding the media accountable, that is the job of the blogosphere

The MSM could put a negative spin on a cure for cancer and winning the lottery. But the main effect is to trash their own sinking credibility. Here is a poll question - do you trust the MSM to be objective and impartial about US politics? Likely voters say...

President Bush has been pilloried from the Socialists on the left along with the MSM & MSP and that propaganda is coming home to roost as the country grows during war time and the WOT/Iraq is seeing a great deal of success. Some in the Democratic Party have chosen to stand with the terrorists as they did with Arafat and now Saddam. Pelosi and Reid are their standard bearers with Biden, Kennedy, and Boxer, deriding their country and President on the Sunday talk shows. None of the latter understands or are willing to admit that Team Bush unequivocally tell the truth; the American people understand the plain patois of Bush- American speech, rather than the ‘nuanced’ elite Eastern ‘speak’ of the Kerry cabal….a sorry anti-American lot if ever there was one!

GO PRESIDENT BUSH!

This concept of an unbiased media has always fascinated me. When I read any books about the Civil War and a newspaper of that era is quoted the historian will indicate the bias of that particular paper (pro or anti Lincoln for example). The MSM gets it's power from viewers and readers who think they are getting objective reporting.

I'd have to go look at the last few polls for the Indy and Dem approval numbers, but I'm pretty certain he wasn't at 80% approval from Reps for a little while. Now we're getting back into his normal territory. The president always had consistently (enviable for other pols) high standing among his base. That he lost that approval is why the numbers dropped. It's returning with force now. I'm in the Indy category and my approval was strongly back a few weeks ago.

I'm listening to ingraham's show and she's playing bites of Kerry's interview on Face the Nation.

I'm shocked to learn Leiberman's comments were actually mentioned in a question. Kerry's lame response? It's important to remember that what unites them is strong, and they have more common on the war with each other than they do G.W.B.

Has Kerry read Leiberman's oped? LOL he's standing shoulder to shoulder with G.W.B. on Iraq, not with the Kerry model.

I think leiberman's op ed is being forced into the open a week later because the President's numbers are improving since he's taken that Party on, and we refuse to quit talking about the column. The MSM is having to pick up on it. They aren't giving it the attention it deserves, but it's starting to get mention.

Individual papers being partisan is normal. All of them having the same partisan orientation is not. It is Gramscian communist strategy and systematic infiltration of institutions of social power by socialists.
