Evolution has NEVER BEEN an explanation for the origins of life.A good many biology textbooks suggest the origin of life as a particular combination of molecules apart from any intelligent agent and leave it at that.

And this has nothing to do with evolution. It's abiogenesis.
BTW, physics textbooks also say that the planets revolve around the sun without mention of God either. Why don't you get upset over that too?
