Fox..Hadley..Will not confirm officially the death of Abu Hamza Rabia.
Wallace is rattling off the mounting deaths of our troops .
Played Cheney's thoughts that the insurgents were in their death throes and tried to get Hadley to say it was a mistake.
Hadley manages to say it was mistaken without saying it was really mistaken..by pointing out successes despite the deaths.
Boxer coming up..I just cannot do this one.
LOL. Understood.
Agreed, it's now time to put the TV on mute until the panel comes on and we can watch Brit take Juan Williams to school on reality.
Hadley is in a gotcha moment. Too bad. Still, thanks for your posting. It's my favorite part of Sunday morning.

Caution: Rant Mode ON
Why, oh why, oh why can't our side mount intelligent, articulate and aggressive rsponses and arguments in the face of these stupid media ploys? I didn't see this exchange and I'm coming into the thread late, but here's how I would have answered Chris Wallace:
Chris, as any competent student of military history and tactics should know, at the end of 1944 the German forces were also in their "last throes" as well. This did not prevent them from launching the Ardennes Offensive, better known as the Battle of the Bulge on December 16, 1944. Over the next six weeks they killed over 19,000 Americans, or as you might put it, we suffered a massive number of "mounting deaths". That did not mean the Germans were winning; it meant they were exhausting their last reserves of strength.
Military strategists from Sun Tzu to the present day have understood that an enemy can be at its most dangerous when it is at the end of its struggle, just as hunters know that a wounded and dying quarry when finally cornered will fight the fiercest.
Your and other journalist's attempts to imply an inconsistency between Vice-President Cheney's commment and the fact the terrorists have continued to fight and inflict casualties is simply invalid, both logically and historically, and does not accuractly depict how things work in the real world. Both wounded, dying animals and wounded, dying human(terrorist) ideologies can continue to kill while in their "death throes" and casualties will continue to mount, but this does not change the fact that they are dying.
