Just when things looked like they couldn't get any worse for President Bush, here come the zombies to vote him out of office. They arrive courtesy of Joe Dante's Homecoming, a one-hour movie made for Showtime's "Masters of Horror" series that airs tonight and tomorrow and will be rebroadcast throughout December.
One part satire of soulless Beltway insiders, one part gut-crunching horror flick, Homecoming kicks off when the flag-draped coffins of soldiers killed in Iraq burst open and the reanimated corpses of dead veterans hit the streets, searching for polling places where they can pull the lever for "anyone who will end this evil war."

If our dead soldiers could rise up they would be gunning for Murtha
I'd say "Zombies" pretty accurately describes the audience for this show.
Since the dead arise for the Democrats every election anyway I don't see much to get excited about. This movie maker is just recycling old democratic election strategy if you ask me.
While the bit about american soldier coming out of
caskets to vote against GW, is just the kind of
lying crap one can expect from the DimoFreaks, it's
not like zombies coming out of, or going into
caskets are voting against the President..they've
been dong so for over 5 years now...They're called
Democrats, and leftists, Hippies, Wannabe's,
anarchists...all the different Zombies of the
Dead Socialists Society.
"here come the zombies to [try to] vote him out of office"
BWAHAHAHA! The libs are calling themselves "zombies"! Well, thinking doesn't seem to be their strong suit, so if the shoe fits. . . .
And lets not forget their poster freak,
Cindy Sheehan, a Ghoul of the Sixties
climbed up on her honorable sons castered
casket, feeding on his flesh and his honor,
in between screeching her death lemming wailings.
A nightmarish world of the Left: "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." When the human mind goes astray, there arises mutant zombies of the left, out of the Dawn of the Dead, preying on human freedom, like flesh-feeding demons.
I assume you are referring to the lowest level
of Hell, reserved reserved for betrayers.
So they made this drivel for SHOWTIME?
Okay, that's another attaboy for me for never, ever subscribing to that channel.
The bad news is that I linked to Slate to get that information and have to go shower again.
I would never accuse these people of good taste. I'm talking about Joe Dante, Grady Hendrix, and Slate, together with any other admirers of this show.
lol...... thanks for the chuckle :) that was good.
Zombies = Dem/lib/lefties/loonies
Showtime is running a 'free preview' weekend on the dish. I flipped there last night to see if there were any good movies on. I figured it out really quick. After this show was on, they were showing F-9/11. That's all I needed to see. I flipped it back to TNT and watched the Nextel Nascar awards show! MUCH better viewing!!
If our grandkids weren't so fond of the Nick/Disney/Cartoon channels, we would probably not have ANY Dish service at all.
We had the entire "Gold Package"...Showtime, HBO, etc....for a couple of weeks as part of a promotion when we first signed up, but surfed through that barfathon for a couple of evenings and almost cancelled EVERYTHING.
Even now, every other time we see that Dish bill my wife and I wonder if we should just invest that money in DVD's for the kinder to watch instead.
Showtime seems to be nothing but a propaganda channel. DirecTV has a free viewing this weekend. So far it has had Fahrenheit 911, some show about the evils of eating meat via fast food and now this.
as if we needed yet another illustration: More proof of Donk necrophilia, this time involving our honored dead.
You might want to still consider dumping the dish.
Nick and Disney have no compunction about filling their current cartoons with scatalogical humor and messages of "tolerance," while Cartoon Network is carrying stuff like "Boondocks" and "American Dad", both of which are adult oriented, anti Bush, shows.
