At times I have refused to shop at a specific Wal-Mart. It had to do with service or I should say the lack of service. When the problems were corrected I returned. I believe it to have been a store management issue rather than a corporation issue.

Overall I think Wal-Mart and like stores helped the economic boom in the 90's. You can buy reasonable good quality stuff for a good price.

I really don't think that people on the right are "bamboozled" by anyone. We have a mind of our own and are not lemmings and certainly do NOT adhere to the left's philosophy.

Therefore any dislike for Walmart's practices are based soley on many factors such as importing goods from a communist country, the affect eventually that a Walmart-like philosophy will have on America, there are many factors to consider than just plain saying some of us are influenced by the left's hatred of anything.

Well, one could hate the "made in China" stuff, boycott it, and still shop at Walmart for other items [food, for example] as the need arises. I would not call it "having been bamboozled".
