"Terrorize" them? One of them restores the Serb patriarchate in 1557. Some "terrorizing".
To be sure, the Serbs were then the Otomans' faithful allies, and were rewarded by wide-ranging privileges given to their church.

Your distorted and myopic view of Balkan History in the role of the Orthodox Church during the Muslim Ottoman Terror confounds.

Most churches were not restored and many were converted into mosques, or had mosques built upon destroyed churches or with the stones of destroyed churches.

Turks skinned and staked Serbs alive after uprisings or when they tried to resist.

Turks heavily taxed Serbs, impoverishing them - they took a large part of Serbs' harvests for the Ottoman Empire.

The Albanians were brought into Kosovo and Macedonia by the Turks. The Turks even had to admonish the Albanians not to overkill the Serbs for the Turks would lose some of their tax base.

The Albanians had nothing built and developed in Kosovo. Any historic mosque was Turkish built.

The Albanians were just backward mountain people who believed in a primitive blood feud, and who were used against the Serbs by the Turks, Austrians and others.
