LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton accused President Bush of mismanaging the Iraq war and claimed his domestic agenda has taken the country off course in a speech Friday night to Democrats in a state that solidly backed the Republican president last year.
About 2,000 people cheered the New York senator as she accused Bush of ignoring an ailing health care system and rewarding tax cuts to the wealthy while piling up deficits.
Clinton headlined a party fundraiser that brought in $600,000 for Kentucky candidates as Democrats try to reverse gains by Republicans, who hold the governor's mansion and all but one of the state's congressional seats.
Clinton, who is running for re-election next year and is considered a possible presidential candidate in 2008, targeted the president's handling of the war for some of her sharpest criticism.
"The time has come for the administration to stop serving up platitudes and present a plan for finishing this war with success and honor," she said. "I reject a rigid timetable that the terrorists can exploit, and I reject an open timetable that has no ending attached to it.

What exactly did Clinton do while he was president? He went on several multi-billion dollar vacations all paid for by us. The one I remember in particular is when he took Chelsea for a grand tour of India and there were others to Europe, Africa. Of course he also had a lot of fun with Monica in the oval office.

Thanks for the reminder. You know, I'm at a disadvantage when it comes to the history of the Clinton administration: I actively avoided listening to his voice on the radio and tv for the entire eight years.
(Except one instance..."I did not have sexual relations with that women, Miss Lewinsky..."). Self-serving loser.

Clinton also recieved lots of cash from the Communist Chinese Government for his 'tax free' library slush fund.
In trade, the Chinese got advanced missle technology developed and paid for...from the American taxpayers.

Wait, he did have a strategy for dealing with terrorists. (1) Launch a $2 million cruise missile into a hundred dollar tent and hit a camel in the butt.
Give the guy a break: cruise missiles don't have next of kin. We couldn't have expected Clinton to risk precious points in the polls and thus his "legacy".
Leaders make tough but correct decisions and stand behind them. Clinton was no leader.

Sorry. I shouldn't say that. It's a bad idea, but a damn fine punchline.
