As an amatuer magician I feel that David Blaine has a lot of "street magic" talent, but when it comes to levitation, one must look at choreography, presentation, illusion, misdirection, all of which contribute to the "magic" that is experienced. In my opinion, David Copperfield's Flying Illusion is still unsurpassed, and is unbeleivable to experience live in person in the audience.

I was once in the second row from the stage - middle seat for one of his performances. I truly could't see anything "concrete" about his magic and was truly, truly flabbergasted.
