Of course they sterilze the needle, and carefully cleanse the arm with betadine, after ascertaining that the prisoner is not allergic.

I believe that the poem was by Garrett Morris, not Eddie Murphy.

"I told them that if I am going to die, I don't want food or water or sympathy from the place that is going to kill me," said Williams, a soft-spoken man with a bodybuilder's physique and graying hair that is pulled into a tight ponytail. "I don't want anyone present for the sick and perverted spectacle. The thought of that is appalling and inhumane. It is disgusting for a human to sit and watch another human die."

Apparently, though, this doesn't apply to Tookie, who murered four innocent, unresisting people in cold blood and, as leader of the Crips, masteminded the murder of hundreds of others. Even now he won't let himself be debriefed about the Crips, showing he's as unrepentant as ever.

No #53 was Garrett, the poem was from "Tyrone Green" aka Eddie Murphy.

Whine, whine, whine, the physique of a body builder and the courage of a marsh mellow.

His victems hoped for life too, but he denied them the opportunity to prepare for death. Rid the world of this self adoring piece of garbage. And let him serve the time in hell for any of his victems that may have died unprepared to meet their maker.

<< "Being near death is nothing new to me or any other black male," Williams said ... >>

Pulled me up, right there.

[Or, go tell that to, just for starters, Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell and Alan Keyes]

REAL headline:

"Tookie Williams Scared S!!tless of Dying, Thinks Denial Will Lessen the Terror"

REAL story:

Stanley Tookie Williams is not afraid to die.

Stanley "Cold-Blooded Murdering Vermin" Williams is wetting himself in fear of his impending death.

The 51-year-old convicted murderer, who has spent nearly half of his life on Death Row, knows his scheduled execution date is less than two weeks away, but he says he is not fearful, that it's a prospect he has dealt with his entire life.

The 51-year-old flotsam, convicted of murdering three innocent people during a senseless turf war a quarter of a century ago, knows he's got a date with the Reaper. He tries to whistle past the graveyard with a lot of exercise-yard bravado, but being a man of little spirituality, he is terrified of the Final Curtain.

"Being near death is nothing new to me or any other black male," Williams said Thursday during an interview in a visiting room at San Quentin State Prison. "I've been shot and close to death many times. This is no different.

"Being near death is kinda new to me. In the past, it's always been my lackeys who got their hands dirty. Now, I'm hoping I can turn this into some kind of racial referendum and steal 11th-hour salvation. But the truth is, I'm near to crappin' myself."

"But I am praying that I live. Of course, I want to live."

"I have dreams, man. There are so many more people to kill, lives to ruin, women to rape, drugs to deal. I'm too young to rush to the gallows. I'm a deep well of misanthropy ... there's just so much more I want to do."

"I told them that if I am going to die, I don't want food or water or sympathy from the place that is going to kill me," said Williams, a soft-spoken man with a bodybuilder's physique and graying hair that is pulled into a tight ponytail

"I told them that they were fools for giving me any sympathy, because sympathy is for suckas. That's why I have none for the lives I've destroyed. What I WOULD like is one of them porno movies ..."

"I don't want anyone present for the sick and perverted spectacle.

"Actually, living a life of crime the way I have, I've just developed an aversion to witnesses. And I don't want the world to see me slobbering like a little girl when they strap me onto the gurney."

Remember "In Living Color"? We never missed that show. The poem kind of reminds me of the Santa skit.

But the rest of us do.

Popcorn, Skittles, and Pepsi for the show.

Say...That gives me a great idea for Closed-circuit Pay-Per-View!

If you thought Prize-Fights took in a lot of money, HA!

It occurs to me that if he hadn't been on death row all these years, he might have died of a drug overdose or been killed in a shootout by now.
