Rep. John P. Murtha is continuing his assault on the Bush administration's Iraq war policy, asserting this week that the U.S. Army is "broken, worn out" and "living hand to mouth."
The Pentagon and a senior Republican senator sharply disagreed with his assessment.

No, no, no, relax. She's just an annoying cockaroach. I was thinking the other day that I'd like to see her out of that position, but then I realized she is so hopelessly out of her league, so completely ineffectual, we'd never get another weak sister like her. I know her appearance and sound is like fingernails on a blackboard, but know that no one in their right mind would ever take a shrieking, hysterical harpy like that seriously. I doubt people in SF even take her seriously. She's almost as much of a gift as Howard "The Scream" Dean.

I think they did this before the handover of power too, trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They may know that this is their last chance. The election may seal the compact we've made with the Iraqi people.
Then again another trope of the left is to demand something we're going to do anyway in hopes of claiming credit for it. It will never work. Then next fall none of this will have happened.
Murtha is just old and senile...and a puppet. He doesn't have enough of his mental capacity left to be a traitor. He lacks the competence for overt sedition.
I think Ritter was getting paid off by Soros, wouldn't be surprised if Mister Murtha was getting a few checks in the mail as well.
Murtha is just trying to deflect the pork scandal from looking at him and his lobbyist brother too closely.
Well, the way I look at it is that Murtha is the gift that keeps on giving...to the GOP, that is.
His idiotic statements just show the vast contrast between the GOP and the Dems.

Are Navy was fairly broken in 1941 on Dec 8th. This was not a valid reason for a Senator to call for withdrawl of our forces from the pacific theater and to cede Hawaii to the new Enemy. The E word is not used enough in the Iraq/Al Qaeda/Afghanistan contect, IMHO.
I'm always amazed how these mopes fall in love with the camera. Sheehan and now Murtha are milking the love that the dems throw at them through the media. It's like electronic heroin to them.
Don't let Michael Newdow know they have to promise to trust in God to get in the military.
