Great opening line, then the rest of the article says that they want to do the same thing (Use 527s and crazy groups like ACT and others). Have the "Progressive" Democrats learned anything or are they planning to do more of the same?

They're referring to the coming elections?
I thought they were referring to Iraq, as in, causing the USA to lose in Iraq through their steady drumbeat of propaganda.

I don't know why they think "progressive" sounds better than "liberal". Progressive just sounds more elitist.

I hope not.
Given their assets, the nass media along with the public education including colleges and universities, coupled with the stupidity of the average American, they might.
Should the Democrats win, only the parasites, degenerates, and perverts will be pleased.
Decent individuals, including the gullible older working people who vote Democrat because. "By Golly, my mother, father, and Uncle Ned were Democrats and that is good enough for me!" will not be happy.
But by then it will be too late. Once the Democrats regain power they are not going to relinquish it.

"We progressives"
It's time to ask what they're progressing toward.
