After analyzing magnetic resonance imaging (MRIs) of 23 men and 10 women, the team found that the sexes use different areas of the brain even when working on exactly the same task.

,,, more than twice as many men than women for the purpose of this research. What does that say? How long will it take for transgenders to crave inclusion in this research? It's going to happen.

What would be _more_ interesting is to apply the same testing to some true trans-sexuals (i.e., males who have had surgery to "become" female and vice versa), and to see which gender _their_ brain patterns resemble.

Also, to male homosexuals. I would reckon that the brain patterns of the most effeminite (sp) gay males more closely resemble that of females than they do that of males (even though, from the head down, they are "male").

The same may be true for very "butch" lesbians...
