I love the tree lighting. But Maya Angelou is beyond worthless.
Gets your VCRs/DVDs ready!!
I love CeCe Winans!! She's great!!
I share your opinion of Angelou; however, the First Couple and Skaggs, et al, will make the ceremony worth watching!!
What the heck is Maya Angelou doing there?
True. I won't let her ruin it for me. ;o)
Wait a minute, give Maya her due!
A Tree
A Green Tree
A Evergreen Tree
A light
A lightbulb
Two lightbulbs
Many lightbulbs
...etc
WOOHOO! At last--something I can see live! I'm usually at work when something this good happens!
Kinda hard to believe that CSPAN didn't call it a "Holiday Tree".
ROFL!!! You are better than she is!
A tree, a tree
Off in the distance I see
A wonder to my eyes
A wonder to my thighs
How much they look like a tree
......Hillary Clinton
"Kinda hard to believe that CSPAN didn't call it a "Holiday Tree"."
Actually, I'm shocked!
I'm even more shocked that C-Span agreed to broadcast a CHRISTMAS-oriented activity featuring PRESIDENT BUSH!!
i thought this was the national holiday tree?
Maya gets on the DU's enemies list.
I have never figured out the greatness of Angelou either.
I'm here. But what's with Maya Angelou? The MOST overrated poet.
Same reason that Spike Lee is "great". It's PC to say so, even though he sucks. :o)
Yay! This is going to be good
"A wonder to my thighs
How much they look like a tree "
Green and scratchy? yuck.
