Heh-heh! I wouldn't mind getting that NRA card all that much. In fact, my first draft had an NRA card saying "The Baby Jesus would have used teflon-coated hollow points if they'd been invented already," but I decided to take a different approach because I didn't want to make it seem like I think the NRA are gun nuts, but instead to make the point that no other organization would do something this blatantly political (and in some cases blasphemous) with Christmas cards.

All I can say is may God have mercy on their souls, and may it be far more mercy than they have shown to these littlest of souls who are the most vulnerable of us all.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that to use the season we celebrate the birth of our Lord to promote their hideous practices and promulgate their sin is so depraved, what words can one find to express the moral outrage I feel at this. There is no peace, justice or hope for the aborted babies.

Further, I would like to add something here. Recently on another FR post there was something about ALF (some animal rights foundation) and how they have issued statements about killing hunters might be worth it if it saves thousands of animal lives. The bottom of their website has a little scrolling message from our buddy Peter Singer saying that the death of animals is equivalent to humans. Remember him? He's the guy that is a proponent of not only infanticide but toddlericide.

The slope is about a foot deep of slime right now - how deep it's going to get, I can only wonder.

I almost used "Peace through superior firepower," but since it's one of my favorite slogans, I didn't want to use it as an example of stupidity!

I can see it now: Mary didn't have a choice. Thanks to Planned Parenthood, YOU do.

If they read this, that message might be on the inside of the card next year.

I wish the NRA would come up with Christmas cards like that but they're actually pretty conservative and it borders on the blasphemous. We know the only TRUE peace can come from the Prince of Peace, but the cards could be quite humorous. I tend to send the serious, religious cards myself that use the word Christmas (not Xmas and not Happy Holidays).

Indeed Mr. Silverback, indeed!!

Yep. Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Men extnds to abortionists, but not if the show up at the stable behind the inn with their tools ready to go!

Note: The above message does not advocate violence against abortionists or their supporters, because killing a pro-abort abortionist just makes you a late-term abortionist.

Xmas is not blasphemous. It refers to the following:

Xmas This abbreviation for Christmas is of Greek origin. The word for Christ in Greek is Xristos. During the 16th century, Europeans began using the first initial of Christ's name, "X" in place of the word Christ in Christmas as a shorthand form of the word. Although the early Christians understood that X stood for Christ's name, later Christians who did not understand the Greek language mistook "Xmas" as a sign of disrespect.

"Peace on Earth through the use of magnum hollow points?"

LOL!
That is in fact what my cards are going to say!

Thanks but I don't recall saying the X was blasphemous. I am not big on abbreviations to begin with and I know people who even say "X"mas instead of Christmas so I like to be a traditionalist and keep the Christ in Christmas. Leave the X to CNN since they seem to like using it so much.
