That sounds like the commentary for 'orgazmo'. Lots of drinking.

[For one thing, ‘South Park’ has been on for nine seasons. It has established a certain staying power. What was more interesting to me was that the show was doing more political commentary than any other show on television. It’s really engaging with contemporary, political issues]

South Park is just about the only show which lampoons the Left, and as such it has the field pretty much to itself.

There are many shows which denigrate the Right, but they compete with each other in a crowded field, and they are also usually lacking in humor, making them unwatchable.

Another show which lampoons the Left (although sometimes the Right as well) is "Bullshit" by Penn and Teller. Great show.

The commentary kind of ended on a downer since it sounded like the small guy in the group was about to throw some punches, but it cuts off right at the end of the credits.

Hehe, my dad got a masters degree at CMU. I am sure it wasn't in pop culture!

I liked the way the show ended with a dead whale on the moon last night.

The best part was when that Russkie thought Kyle's call to send the whale to the moon was a crank call by George Bush.

no, because it was written and directed by either one of the zucker brothers or abrahms.

It had it's moments (and choda boy), but it just isn't the same.

If I ever see it in the bargain bin I might pick it up though.

yeah but they still do 3 of the 4 main characters within the movie....

you can pick out Stan and Kyle from Stone and certainly Cartman from Parker in the movie, so it should count ya know?

"Cartman would kick Professor Weinstock's butt."

Yeah. And then he'd make him eat his own parents! :^)
