Sounds like more of an Ass Fight.

And so many conservatives were worried about the poll numbers and constant hounding of the dems/media.
They can't keep themselves together.

Democrats are children who shouldn't be allowed in the room when grown-ups are trying to work on real problems.
To: slowhand520
They already hate Kerry. He did the most unforgivable thing possible. He lost to BFEE/Bushco or whatever name they have for him.

"Bush's hilarious "plan""
No reasons why it's hilarious or why plan in quotation marks. This blogger just attacks and probably can't come up with one good point as to what he/she wrote.

Didn't John Kerry in his speech yesterday make the claim that democrats have
never discussed or called for a date certain to pull the troops out?
Its all they have been doing for nearly a year!

The pendulum is definitely about to swing to the right again. Watching Kerry yesterday try and articulate an incomprehensible stance was like watching a boxer against the ropes throwing one last jab to fend off an inevitable knockout. I hope Bush does not rest on his laurels. The GOP needs to perpetuate this.

I saw Pelosi this morning on Fox and she was pushing the withdrawal to a neighboring country and using a rapid reaction force for Iraq as an alternate plan. The Fox news readers didn't ask any tough questions, in fact I can't remember them asking any questions.
The Democrats need to be asked where this reaction force would be based and which neighboring country has agreed to host such a force. I guarantee the Democrats haven't bothered to ask that question because this isn't about a real alternative to Bush's plan. It's only about scoring political points . Someone needs to expose their hypocrisy on this.

Frankly, I think some Dems are throwing up trial balloons for Hillary on the war in Iraq. Notice Hil didn't utter a peep about Murtha's call for a pullout until AFTER the vote was taken and the firestorm of criticism erupted.

The Kossacks also hate Kerry for what they think was a sleazy campaign to smear Howard Dean and deny him the Democrat nomination. But they sure didn't seem to mind Kerry's sleazy campaign when it tried to hawk fake National Guard memos to CBS or put togther the Joe Wilson lying tour.

Let's all send $2 to Kerry's Presidential Fund. If he thinks he actually has a chance, he'll keep doing these moronic stunts and trip up the rest of the party.

The Dems bring to mind the late Abba Eban's famous pronouncement about the Palestinians: They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Let me see if I have the Democrats plan right.
They plan to take the troops out of Iraq and station them somewhere in the Mid-East that is close to Iraq, so when the Civil War and the killing starts they can send them back to Iraq???

Nice picture, I like it.
I could see Hunter calling another pull out vote soon if these Dems keep talking this way. Pelosi needs to be careful what she wishes for. Hunter said if the games didn't stop in the rhetoric he would call another 403-3 type vote. Seems maybe that is needed.
All the hype in the media about this issue CONGRESS has the power to end our participation in this war at ANY TIME. If they truly believe that is the right thing to do as they claim, they would do so.

If so those trial balloons are going down, as Keith Moon said once, "Like Led Zeppelins". Here inability to articulate any sort of position I think is troubling for her and her fans. She has been saying things like "we need a wait and see" method on troop withdrawal. Instead focusing on violence in video games. Hasn't been a good week for Madame Hillary
To: slowhand520
The reason the Dems are coming apart at the moment is that in two weeks the Iraqis vote in a real government. Since nobody knows what form that's going to take exactly it's tough to adopt a safe posture condemning it without looking like an idiot. Fortunately the latter doesn't apply to anyone on the Kos.
