Typical liberal. Unfortunately the republican party is falling lock step behind them.

But the Dems are egregious with their misrepresentations. Another recent example: on `Good Morning America' this AM (wife watches it)
Kenneth Cole, fashionista and Demo-sheeple shepherd, was proclaiming that:
"We All Have AIDS'.
I don't have AIDS. Do you have AIDs? Then we don't all have AIDS.

Well here's another example of how stupid MM is. If he were even marginally intelligent, he would have claimed that he owned the stock in order to go to the shareholders' meeting and see what Halliburton was up to. But he was too stupid to think of that and just resorted to the natural behavior of a lib - lying.

If only cancer were like AIDS and required you to engage in some form of illicit behavior to catch it....
The only true AIDS victims are those who have gotten it from a bad transfusion of blood provided by a scumball who had it... and maybe a baby born of an AIDS parent.

Between MM, Kerry, Wilson, Pelosi and Sheehan, I've had about all I can take this week of these lying ***holes.

Don't worry, some troll or lurker will see your post and get back to the mellon head and he and others will change their story once again...

I've never owned a share of stock in my life Depends on the meaning of the word "I."

So Moore lies. Big deal.
He's also registered to vote in two states simultaneously, according to www.thesmokinggun.com
That's illegal.

"But Moore's loophole may be that the stock is actually owned by his non-profit foundation not him personally"
Kinda like Kerry and his SUVs. He didn't own them; his family did.

Yeah, but Kenneth Cole (whoever he is) was speaking from the heart. Feelings are more important than actions. If he feels like 'we all have AIDS', then we all have it. Irregardless of the fact that 99% of Americans are responsible enough (or smart enough) not to catch it in the first place.
Unless he was pretentious enough to be using the 'Royal "We"'. Or dumb enough to believe that everyone in America is as irresponsible as he and his associates are. Either of these could be possible.
People like this make me ill.

Wow. If he's telling the truth now, then he filed a false return with IRS. That's a pretty serious offense.

What does MM's non-profit foundation do, besides pay his travel and entertainment expenses?
To: Recovering Ex-hippie
I'm not sure. There would seem to be an arbitrage here is he could pay himself a salary as an officer of his non-profit while paying an income tax at a lower rate than the capital gains tax rate.
But there is no arbitrage in that scenario because the income tax rate is higher than the capital gains rate.
