The president outlined his strategy for victory in Iraq at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He met with VFW Commander-in-Chief Jim Mueller and Secretary of Vetrens Affairs Jim Nicholson in the Oval.
Laura Bush gave the media a tour of the holiday decor at the White House.
Welcome to Sanity Island!
I guess it's like the size of the lemons on the Amalfi Coast in Italy - more like grapefruit!
The President's speech is on C-Span, now.
This man has given the country the best he has to give. Even his speech givin' reminds us that he is just a man like us regular Americans; I think that's why we like and trust him so well.
However, he is a man with a terrible burden. How the politicians that cut him with a million cuts during this war can sleep at night, is beyond me.
(That is if I know who you are. :)
Great dose....thanks! I'll be sending many of this photos to family in the military.
I can see no Gay gingerbread men on that tree...
I listened to Rush today and he absolutely NAILED Kerry's lies when Kerry said that no Democrat was calling for a timetable to pull out of Iraq. It took nearly an hour to detail how many Democrats HAVE advocated for a pull out date.
Yes I suppose it depends where they came from and I they would of course have the very best class 1 fruit.
It was also a speech that made it clear that if any elected official backed the plan for PREMATURE withdraw, they were surrendering to the Terrorists and placing this nation in grave danger.
I also like the fact that the President is asking fro 3.5 Billion dollars for supplemental reconstruction funds for Iraq... This will force the Democrats to show their hand once again, just like they did when they called for the vote on whether to pull out of Iraq :-)
George W. Bush gave the Democrats lots of rope to hang themselves with and now it's time to walk the plank for the Democrats :-)
Saw the link in the freep mail - thank you very much
I already have an envelope prepared for you my friend :-)
This is God's man for the hour, who is seeking to do HIS will in fighting an evil enemy and protecting America from them...........and these bozos are slicing him to bits for power and political gain.
They will pay.......if not in this lifetime, in eternity.
Thank you I appreciate that.
Me me me! (/singing with bad voice recovering from laryngitis)
"'Tis said that courage is common, but the immense esteem in which it is held proves it to be rare. Animal resistance, the instinct of the male animal when cornered, is no doubt common; but the pure article, courage with eyes, courage with conduct, self-possession at the cannons mouth, cheerfulness in lonely adherence to the right, is the endowment of elevated characters."

How heartening it must be for the brave troops at Annapolis and those fighting today and hearing this speech all over the world that their Commander in Chief is a man of great courage and optimism, and that he supports them 1000% ~~~~
Who gets to be first?? :)
I'll freep it right to you.
George W. Bush has been under attack since day one and he has never lost his cool. There is no American President since Lincoln that has had to deal with as much turmoil and tragedy as George W. Bush has, and George W. Bush has never wavered. I think the world of this President and I can tell you honestly that I will be one sad Gram-pa when George W. Bush waives goodbye to all of us in January of 2009.
History is being made as we speak, and that history is because of the great leader we elected twice as our President. The world is changing once again for the cause of Freedom and I know in my heart that Ronald Reagan is in Heaven smiling upon the "Shining City Upon a Hill" that he he always envisioned. Ronald Reagan would be very proud of George W. Bush and would proudly hand the torch of Liberty to his Vice Presidents Son
