So many folks so quick to jump the gun on this one!
I won't criticize Schwarzenegger until after he makes his decision & after I read his statement for his reasoning (I assume he'll issue one either way).
Arnold is a politician, and knows that if he sides with tookie, he will lose all conservative support. he also knows that even if he set tookie free, the liberals would still hate him.
and someone on this thread pointed out that Arnold hasn't let other killers off.
i'm guessing he wants to appear fair and reasonable, but i don't think even hilary would pardon this guy.
Very good point. Either way this guy will not be departing prison.
