His stories makes me think of Harlequin romance novels. I'm not saying they are or not; but that is the first thing that comes to my head.
The stories have enough 'situations' to make the bad he has done, 'not his fault' yet qualify him as a terrorist; but yet, the terrorist acts aren't bad enough to keep him from being 'forgivable'.

Since we are AT war, shouldn't these guys be POWs? Even if they turned themselves in and renounced their affiliation with the enemy. Aren't they suppose to be held until the war is over?

That's cheap at twice the price. These guys are taking their lives in their hands doing this. Reading the guy's bio shows he's incredibly brave and is doing great work to atone for his youth.
