The orange revolution was NEVER pro-Western.
It was just another faction, who wanted power and people in the West bought the propaganda.
The bottom line was that Kuchma, the previous PM provided very tangible help to us in Iraq, sending a large number of troops. Yushchenko, your fine "pro-West" leader pulled out the troops from Iraq, stabbing the US in the back, they tried to stop privatization and tanked the economy.
People are starting to figure it out.
