On Nov. 18, U.S. Magistrate Judge Valerie K. Couch released previously sealed records related to the FBI/Joint Terrorism Task Force search of Oklahoma University bomber Joel Hinrichs' apartment, his e-mail account and nine OU computers.
I obtained the nearly 350 pages of unsealed court documents just before Thanksgiving last week and reviewed them over the weekend (a big thank you to Cheryl in Judge Couch's office and TaraLeigh Teupker of Business Courier Service of Oklahoma City for their prompt responses and assistance). It would have been nice if an MSM outlet with boundless time, resources, and manpower--say, CBS News--had made the unsealed documents available to the public. But they didn't. So I spent several hours scanning and uploading as many of the records as I could (thanks to my web guy Mark Jaquith for technical help).
You can view the first 94 pages of the docs here . . . . . . . . . . . .
It is just as foolish to close your eyes to even the possibility of an Islamic connection. It has neither been proved nor disproved. Knowing the OU President's hush-up mop-up, the FBI and the media, we may never know for sure.
OU bomber ping.
It's really macho posturing by a few freepers who just can't admit that they could get blown up at a football game. It's just too much for some men!
where are the surveillance tapes? that seems to be the most popular item "lost" by the FBI in these cases.
This post has the links to all the threads.
I wondered that too. In fact, I thought the FBI was insisting the tapes showed he didn't try to get into the game (despite conflicting reports from gate security that he tried 3 times). And now they're LOST?
WTH...?
Do you remember the rash of train derailments?

Just one more person with his head in the sand, or is it an agenda? Sometimes it is so hard to tell.
I was going to read the documents Malkin uploaded, but if she doesn't think it's worth it, I guess I won't waste my time.
Just for my own education and edification, anybody know what these two items are?
Softswim clarifier bag
Liquid fire
Softswim is a line of non-chlorine, pool treatment chemicals. The clarifier is noted as a strong oxidizer.
Liquid fire is a sufuric acid solution used on drain clogs.

Thank you.
Thanks so much for alerting me to this coverage. It's great Ms. Malkin was nice enough to post the docs online. Thank you to her, too! (o:
Thank you very much for posting this. (o:
BTTT for later perusal
I'm still wondering how anybody can know that Hinrichs tried to buy ammonium nitrate, but still throw away the idea that he was planning something besides a suicide.
Islamic terrorism? Maybe yes, or maybe no, but definitely more than a suicide.
Welcome back and thanks for the ping.
