Effing disgusting. This guy wasn't a one-time caver who took a bribe to escape an unpleasant situation. He was a habitually corrupt grafter. Sickening.

At first I thought maybe the guy was just stupid, but now it appears quite obviously that he is nothing but a rotten criminal!

He needs to go down much harder than some plea bargain where he gets no prison time! What a complete pr*ck this guy is. Looks like a common democrat congressman.

Goes to show there are creeps on both sides of the aisle.

When the GOP took over Congress, conservatives stopped talking about term limits. It's time to start talking about term limits again.

That's more than my car cost.

At first, it looked like it might be a single (admittedly major) lapse -- but this list makes it clear that the man is a habitual crook.

Unbelievable. Duke's corruption went well beyond the charade involving the sale of his home at a grossly inflated price. I'm pretty sure his decision to plead guilty must have been based in part on an agreement by the U.S. Attorney with regard to a sentencing recommendaton. However, given the extent of his graft, the judge may not accept the recommendation. Duke could (and in my opinion should) be looking at some real serious time here.

His heroic past as a aviatior is now gone, forever tarred by this. How is it that politics can do this to men like Cunningham, Murtha, and McCain?

Three words. Stong central government.

We're going to have to address this growing problem soon, we'll have no choice.

It's time to start talking about term limits again.

Absolutely. But they aren't going to address anything that benefits us directly, unless it's a payraise vote for them. Look at their pensions. Imagine, if term limits were there, sheets Bird, Kennedy, Biden etc would've been gone long ago.

I'm sure he's the tip of the iceberg.

And the sacrificial tip, at that. I sincerely hope he does jail time, but I'm guessing keeping his mouth shut will buy him out of any hard time.

Hell, turn the IRS loose on him. They'd put a serious hurt on his Rolls Royce.

When someone stays in congress too long, they'll be overtaken by either senility or corruption (or both).

Amazing. What a greedy crook. He could have gotten all these goodies if he quit Congress and became a lobbyist himself...

Look out - pretty soon you'll be accused of being a DU jackal, picking at the bones of the Sainted War Hero.

I'm hoping that this proof of his continuing corruption silences the defenders he has left, but I fear nothing will.

$7,200 paid to an antique store for a circa 1850 Louis Phillipe period commode and a circa 1830 Restoration period commode.

OK, this I understand. I hate the low-flow models too.

• $13,500 toward the purchase of a Rolls-Royce.
• $17,889.96 for repairs to the Rolls-Royce.

This part is just funny.

Thank you 'Duke' for your military service, you lying, cheating, thieving, weasel. I'm sure the dems will send you a thank you note for being the poster child of repub corruption.
