President Bush announced a new immigration program on Monday, and was immediately accused of playing politics. The president, his opponents said, isn't more concerned about immigration reform than he used to be. He's just weaker politically. And there's no quicker way to win back the affection of the disaffected Right than to snarl about illegal aliens. For once, the spin is right: Bush isn't serious about immigration;

These illegals that are here won't leave and neither will the ones that are in a mad rush to pack on their way up here after yesterdays speech!!! Thanks Jeorge!!!
I did not hear Rush this morning, but I would bet on it.
I never thought i'd say this, but Tucker is right.
Five years & the first time he has addressed the issue?
Bush is a two bit phony on doing "ANYTHING" about actually controlling our borders and illegals pouring in to the US.
The real problem is Bush is afraid of V. Fox. Fox slaps Bush in the face everyday and W takes it. Mexico isn't as bad as Iraq was, but it's just as corrupt. The government is socialist. The U.S. needs to look at ways to change the Mexican government to a democracy.
Bush is the LIAR on immigration.
"I suggest others take a few minutes to do the same. Emails have the same effect as zero to garner a reaction, deluge the WH with snail mail."
Having worked briefly on capitol hill, I can tell you this is correct. We paid very little attention to emails, and faxes because most were identical form letters that took a couple seconds to go off. Ten letters that people had taken the time to write and the expense to mail on an issue meant more than 200 emails of off some political group's action alert.
Build and they will not come! The wall that is.
Jorge (The Rockefeller Republican) Arbusto.
Yep.
Truth sometimes comes from the "damndest" places Dane!!! One certainty is that we won't get it from you.....
"You are a liar...Bush has clearly stated that he opposes amnesty many times."
You're correct! He instead practices a little characteristically left-wing obfuscation by calling it a "guest worker program".
Amnesty (shamnesty) = Guest workers program
And then there are those of your ilk who want to flood the country with criminals that will never be assimilated and will destroy the US.
You slavish devotion to Bush on this issue reveals more than you think. It is getting damned close to the time when citizens with pitchforks in DC will be the only thing to awaken the pols to their peril.
What makes you so sure His "Base" aren't the ones who use cheap illegal labor?
Dane, why do you support law breakers who hire illegal aleins and the illegals themselves?
"Cheney is CFR so it would seem he supports their proposed Socialist Community of North America."
The CFR is basically an American institution. The worst danger historically is the Tri-lateral Commission. They stated their goals at the very beginning as intending to institute a one-world government. Many in our government are members of this anti-American organization. They've managed over the years to convince most of the public that resistence to their agenda equates to tin-foil-hat conspiracy theory. Works well.
hey now....Tucker has come a long way...he has grown.
and most of us don't agree with him on everything....i believe he was against the Iraq war
he was good at Katrina...wish he'd go to Fox
