Is "senile" the right word?
To: RacerF150
Is he referring to Scottish anti-trust law?
To: RacerF150
Please tell me this is Scrappleface.

The man signed a contract, and is getting paid for not working what he would normally get paid for working? Isn't that what lawsuit-shy corporations around the nation do with such characters?
Gee, too bad Kim Basinger didn't get this kind of sympathy.

'Senile' or maybe 'moonbat.' Methinks Snarlin' Arlen needs a refresher on contract law 101.

No, not Scrappleface but Pennsylvania. I admit it's sometimes hard to tell the difference. |

I have given Specter the benefit of the doubt up to now, allowing for his illness and age and even possibly Alzheimer's as excuses. Now he comes out of the closet as a Terrell Owens fan? The senator needs to be committed to an asylum.

"He said, "It's a restraint of trade for them to do that" and "it might be a violation of antitrust laws.""
I thought the NFL had an anti-trust exemption.

Obviously Specter has too much time on his hands.
To: RacerF150
Hey, why not. After all, we've solved every other challenge facing us in the 21st century.
Why exactly is this clown sill in the Senate? I'd rather see a Democrat. At least that would be truth in advertising.

His copy of the Constitution is a lot different than mine. I can't find where congress is supposed to look after multi-millionare athletes...
To: RacerF150
Owens freely signed a contract with the Eagles and voluntarily agreed to abide by the arbitration.
As usual, Specter has no idea what he's talking about.
To: RacerF150
maybe spectre could just hire TO himself and see what a great public relations coup that would be (yar! yar! yar!)

T.O. been making some donations lately? Or do some key PHilly vote machine operators have a lot of T.O. sympathy?Maybe he's just looking for a reason to delay the Alito confirmation hearings again and give the Dims more time to dig up dirt. They haven't had a lot of luck with that lately.

Obviously Specter has too much time on his hands. But no time for the Alito nomination hearings, apparently.
