"See, MNJohnnie is a "Bush Man"...and has drunk deeply from the Chalice of the "Cult of Bush"!"

This is the new face of the (R) party. The conservatives are now largely non-active, if not non-existent, and all that is left is the Hispandering GOP Big Tent full of RINOs, liberals and moderates.

Just the idea that it promotes more awareness, and gets people to thinking seriously about the problem, and working on actual solutions, is worth every traded remark we have.

I enjoy discussing sides of an issue with intelligent Freepers who defend their view with documentation, common-sense, and a goal of having the right thing happen, instead of insisting they cannot be wrong and don't have to prove it.

Hopefully someone in the ranks of our government will take the best and the worst of what is discussed on these threads, and use them to supplement future plans, actions, and laws.

That is why I stay addicted to FR. I can discuss discuss and debate with others having more intimate and in-depth knowledge of a myriad of subjects, and whether my ideas are accepted or rejected, I come away having learned something new.

Merry Christmas/Holidays to your and your family/friends.

May all around you feel the true joy of the season of giving.
