My daughter's "RA" came into her room, inviting all the girls to a "condom" party. There would be condoms of every color and scent....When my daughter said she would not be attending because she was not having sex or planning to do so AND that the idea of sitting around with a bunch of girls looking at condoms was a waste of time, the RA was not amused.
I grabbed an application for a graduate assistantship in student housing while I get my MBA, but promptly threw it in the trash when I looked through all the diversity and affirmative action requirements (selecting and promoting RAs by race, stressing tolerance and holding events celebrating diversity, etc.).
I considered signing it and inserting myself as a trojan horse into the system, but figured I'd be wasting my time.
