Here's MY post office experience. I was chit-chatting with the Postmaster, who knows me since I'm in there once or twice a week mailing packages to Darling Husband. When she had the customs forms attached and the insurance forms printed out, she gave me the total. In the few seconds it took for me to dig out my wallet, the man in line behind me, who had obviously heard us talking about DH in Afghanistan and me sending him Christmas goodies, had thrust her his credit card and said, "This one's on me. It's the least I can do for a soldier who's serving this country and protecting my family." I left teary-eyed.
