Clark, a controversial figure who was the top U.S. attorney in the late 1960s before becoming an anti-Vietnam war activist and a defender of figures including Slobodan Milosevic, said he hoped to strengthen Saddam's defense.

"Our plan is to go to court in Baghdad on Monday morning representing the defense counsel as defense support," Clark told Reuters in Amman on Sunday before flying to the Iraqi capital...

And when he returns to the US he should be immediately arrested at the airport and jailed and tried on treason charges.

Does anyone know if this part of the trial is set to last a fairly long time, instead of the one day session five weeks ago? I hated that.

Just when you think this gutter dweller cant get any lower, he proves me wrong. Who in their right mind can ever imagine that this man was the Attorney General of the United States of America?????? If that isnt an indictment of the Johnson administration, there will never be one.

His presence in Baghdad almost makes me wish for one more car bomb.

I don't see why Zarqawi would attack an ally.

He would make the perfect husband for Cindy Shaheen. I believe he is from Texas, so she could have conjugal visits with him when she visited him both in Baghdad and Texas.

Feel free to quote me on this.

If he loses, they'll behead him. Maybe even if he wins.

So this is good news.

I think it's an excellent indicator for the general public to judge the leftist anti American slant in the State Department. There's nothing to indicate the careerists there are substantially different in their philosophical outlook than Clarke

Ramsey Clark is a world class flake and I thought he was already fired from Saddam's defense team.
