My AAR of the counterprotest is here.

PING!
Darn. Thought this was a hockey thread.
Poor bastard. I hope they run him off campus.
Bwahahahahahahaha!
It sounds mildly threatening (a 100 person mob at your door can be threatening) but otherwise non-violent.
I think groups have every right to protest, even energetically as long as it remains peaceful. I'd like to see what the "guidelines" are and how they were alleged to have been broken.

Let's hope these "students" are expelled.
I suggest we provide them with automatic weapons so they can really fight, instead of that hissy fit, sweater snagging, hair pulling, shouting, slapping crap that they normally do.
If high schoolers were there, were they there in support of "Stop the War"? If so, how are they identified and warrented to not be members of "Stop the War".
It seems a weak arguement that the offenses were committed by non-members who just happened to be in their midst. True protestors would self identify and take their punishment bravely.
As far as I can piece together, the group recruited some young high-school kids (judging from the mention of the 14-year-old) to do most of the actual hell-raising, as they figured the kids would not be subject to as many civil and criminal penalties as adult members of the group
Madison is mid-america Commie central.. don't count on it..
Socialist don't play well with other ideologys..
ALWAYS...
Yup. I was amused by:
There was a large contingent of local high school students there, who are unaffiliated with Stop the War, who did most of the pounding on doors.
It was the high schoolers! Honest!
Babies.
Some people, none of them Stop the War members, knocked on the door.
If you invited them on campus your responsible for their behavior.
Furthermore, although this complaint was filed on the day of the protest, Nov. 2. I did not receive notice until Nov. 22. The University is giving me ten days to respond, but they waited three weeks to send me this e-mail at 3:30pm the day before the four day Thanksgiving break
The University is required to address infractions in a timely manner and violators are given a 10 day window to appeal. It was this way 20 years ago and is the same today. Less than 3 weeks to review a complaint and address the violator is record time for UW. The only time you will see quicker action is if criminal charges have been filed.

Wow,, this is a perfect textbook case.
The first thing a captured terrorist leader will claim is ignorance of his follower's activities. Then deny any involvement.
Unfortuantely the Left has such a poor/distorted grasp of reality that little in this note has any credibility. My bet is some of it is true, but kind of a lot has been left out, which the author will later claim "to be unaware of".
Saddam, Osama, and Fidel would feel right at home in Madison. In fact they would all be running for mayor there if possible.
You Rock partner!
You, betcha! It's always someone else over whom the group in question has no control. I don't buy it.
Put them on double secret probation, then expel them.
