XM is also going to be exclusive for Fox News Channel and Fox Talk Channel in 2006

I can get Limbaugh on AM or FM. It's CC, so if they have problems - power, feed, etc. - it almost always affects both.
And it's mono on the FM, too.

Heya Warsaw!
I get pretty much all my talk radio in FM or on XM depending on where I am. Sure is easy on the ears!
We have a local 50,000 watt station blasting Rush and Drudge in FM, Up country XM is the way to go or you're stuck with NPR and constant preaching about how awesome Islam is and the virtues of the gay lifestyle ;>

WABC's my favorite radio station. I'm listening in on a Philadelphia station (1210-WPHT) on an actual radio. I almost always listen in on WABC online. I can get it on the radio here (between Philadelphia and Baltimore), but just barely. You can only hear about 60% of the time (it constantly cyclying in and out...)

When I discovered radio stations where people called in to talk about specific topics ( mostly the war at the time ) I thought it was ingenious. Little did I realize it had been going on for years. I suspect the AM radio audience is much larger than it was years ago.

I never listen to music on the radio anymore, save on long drives.....
When driving I fall back to classical music on NPR outside of the hours of the Rush & Savage shows.

hey pal!
Please - one and all - give me your opinions about Sirius and Xm. I suspect I will need to join either as my local station WRKO is broadcasting basketball which is really screwing up my listening to Howie Carr, Savage and the John Batchelor show.
Boy, Howie Carr sure isn't happy the pregame nonsense is cutting his program short by 30 minutes.

Milhous, I just discovered my Windows Media Player had thousands of radio stations. the player came with the PC but I never even knew it. I have found some interesting stations from around the world.
Also, my AOL service has introduced me to new music.
But FM radio? no. no thanks. The DJs and the ads are pretty bad.
The ads of AM used to be the worst produced and terribly annoying. They had actually gotten more professional though
( although if I hear Ellen Degenerate squawking about Amex again I may get sick)

they play music on the radio? Funny. I switched cars with my ex recently cause I was taking a long trip and when we switched back and I pushed my presets(all talk) well, it wasn't pretty. All music? She probably thought what the he?? does this guy listen to. I thought the same thing about her.

How much will I have to spend to get a device to listen to the service. I'd be listening at home mostly.

I enjoy listening to Howie - we moved to PA from MA a few years back & I get my afternoon "captain" fix online now - still homesick though. I detested the politics in MA & don't miss that though

I could stream it but I'm using the football as an excuse to clean up the kitchen. Off and on that is.
