Hi FranklySpeaking-

Many parts of this country are overflowing with bear, coyote, and mountain lion...even in suburban neighborhoods. I wouldn't dream of hiking or mountainbiking near my home without my .357 Magnum on my hip due to the many recent animal altercations.

You're painting with a broad brush and should learn not to insult huge numbers of people without cause.

I've had three of the four, still tying to get some Bear meat.

But I have had some Whale while visiting Japan, which is probably harder to get these days.

I also eat Elk, Kangaroo, Rattlesnake, Alligator, Chuckar, Quail, Goose, etc. whenever I can.

Probably got served Dog while in Korea, but with everything there being covered in Kimchee I would not know for sure, or notice.

Basic rule, if it's meat and cooked, eat it!

Thanks for reminding me to have Venison for dinner tomorrow.
Every "nature program" I see brings the same automatic response, I wonder how they taste!

Oh good grief another human who has seen the Bambi movie so many times their brain is psychologically damaged. The same thing happpend to me in High School when the Earth Day Crap started being taught. I have ever since had to overcome my cringing when someone runs the water while brushing their teeth or shaving "Oh the water that is wasted". I refuse to be brainwashed so I fight this nonsense all the time. Get a grip and think logically for once instead of with EMOTION. Whisper to yourself I can overcome, I can overcome.

I remember her because I'm green eyed and blonde but I leave the classy to be defined by others. Plus that type of screen name always seemed to me to be an advertisement or come-on.

"Granted. But humans are not natural carnivores. The taste for the flesh is an acquired taste. Any animal that cannot digest meat raw is not a natural carnivore."

Oh, really? You don't eat your stakes rare? And what about sushi?

Non-sense.

Look at a buffalo. Look at a cow. Look at a duck. Look at a horse. Look at a pig. Now tell me where their eyes are.

Then look at a wolf. Look at a lion. Look at an eagle. Look at a fox. Look at a human. Now tell me where their eyes are. Where they face.

Oh yes, we humans were meant for meat, and meat was made for us.

It is the reason our bodies became weaker than our fellow primates but our brains became larger. We learned to use tools to kill our game. And eat our game we did and do.

There is a reason men will pass a million salads for one steak should you starve them for a day. We need, crave, want meat. It is who we are.

The one point that I always get a kick out of on these threads is the one fact these anti hunters can not get by.
they are here because their ancestors were successful hunters. If they hadn't become good hunters their bloodline would have died out centuries ago. They have hunting in their blood just like the rest of us but they aren't honest enough to admit it.

If God didn't want man to hunt/eat animals, He wouldn't have made them out of meat.

With the exception of the ducks, any one of those "defenseless animals" could easily kill an unarmed human.

Ducks were some of the culprits in the 1918-1919 flu pandemic that killed over 40 million humans worldwide. I wouldn't call those disease-ridden fowl "defenseless."

I respect that reply....except for the "trophy" part. No Trophies are needed, except for the weak show-off type of folks, IMO.

So it is okay to kill things. You just don't like the motives of some?
