This is just sad.
No, it was weak human, knee jerk response to your disregard for fact and truth regarding libertarian thought.
But this shoe fits, doesn't it?
Just as you seem to feel it appropriate to lie about L/libertarians, I feel it appropriate to describe you in unflattering terms.
"Liar" would have been a more accurate term, but what I used was suffiently accurate. If it is accurate and truthful it isn't a personal attack.
Yeah, you think you can misrepresent the truth and get a free pass on it, don't you?
Correct your statement. Then we see where we go from there.
That's been my thought from about Day Two of that episode.
> To make a vice legal is to endorse it as a 'good' thing (
No. To make a vice (drinking, smoking, gambling, cussing, overeating, etc.) legal simply says that it does not rise to the level of being criminal. There are lots of things that the government does not consider "good" that are nonetheless legal.
The world is considerably more complex than Good (legal) and Bad (illegal).
I always love your posts, great job as usual
> Keep in mind that much of Europe, according to comments on the thread, has legalized prostitution. Does that eliminate coerced sexual slavery?
I will point out that prostitution is illegal in the US... and this same evil occurs *here.* Perhaps not to the same level... but then, perhaps simply better covered.
"So is child molestation. Your sick point being????"
I wasn't defending the practice at all. I personally believe that slavers should be executed and am even willing to do it myself. My point was that one shouldn't be suprised at this behaviour.

A person has done and who is doing is lot of work bringing this issue to the fore is Donna M. Hughes. Here are some of her articles:

Just damn, I have no other words.
" Fortunately, our Founders weren't weenies like our politicians."
"How many of our Founders argued for legalized prostitution?"
The real question is how many of Americas founding fathers had illegimate children with their black female slaves in the plantation days? Some people need to stop worshipping some of the founding fathers as if they were God. They were mere mortals with their own dark secret sins too.
"Many babies are abandoned in the jungles and woods to the animals if there's any kind of birth defect."
...
Even though I don't agree with that practice regarding human beings, they're beyond impoverished, grossly lacking education thus behave exactly like the wild animals in a jungle do. You should see what wild horses do to a new born baby colt who is born disabled. If the colt can never stand up another horse, not the mother takes the colt by the neck, shaking it like a rag doll killing it rather than let it starve to death on the ground. Nature, survival of the fittest, it's a tough gig.
Thanks. Not everyone agrees with me. Disturbs the fantasy world they live in.
Well, like a friend of mine always said.. libertarians are just conservatives who are addicted to drugs and can't keep it in their pants.
Time to put the asbestos on...
Are you out of your mind? Bringing up pure and unadulterated innuendo. If you think large numbers of, for instance, the signers of the Declaration of Independence, or those who hashed out the Contstutition, or served in the original government, fathered illegitimate children by slaves, please kindly post some sources. I've heard of Sally Hemingway - who hasn't?
Come on, we're waiting for your facts and figures.
I didn't lie, nor did I attack you personally. You choose to engage in personal attacks over a disagreement of opinion.
The Libertarian creed includes legalized prostitution. That is a fact. My opinion is that this article represents the reality when that distopian pipe-dream is realized, as it has been in much of Eurabia.
You seem unable to grasp the difference between a general opinion and a personal attack. Is that part of the distopian blindness of the Libertarian or is it just you and Hank that fail in personal courtesy and the ability to follow the rules of this forum?
Next time try decaf. You're much too hysterical today.
