I think your tag line says it all...
I'm just attuned to arguments that make an assumption, but are not based on fact. Like, "Everyone knows most of the founding fathers raped their slaves and produced illigimate children". Did even most of them own slaves? What were their opinions about slavery? At least 3 of them were opposed to slavery, likely more. And most of them held virtuous behavior as the very foundation of human happiness and the success of a republic such as the one they hammered out.
Innuendo and false assumptions are not the way to debate rationally.
