Would you believe we are at 47.5º and rising? Where that came fron, I have no idea. Yesterday was freezing.

The weather report needs my attention, I think. It is dark and birds are frantic at the feeders, making me wonder if precip is forecast.

Having hawks around here, I know what you mean. Although, since all the squirrels have vanished, I haven't seen to many hawks lately, now that you mention it. I was thinking it might be the gray foxes, but it could have been hawks that got them . . . or both.

(LOL)Well, the concern is power going out.

There was a report a few minutes ago in Duncan of two wires coming toghether and starting a grass fire so this really is a messy deal.

Are you rural, urban, or somewhere in between? If your power goes out, how bad is it? We're on a short street and tend be low man on the electric pole when it comes to priorities.

We're in a small town Southeast of Lawton Oklahoma.

We just had our electricity go out for a few minutes. The computer was on when this happened

It's really not a good idea to run the computer when there's a chance of the power going out because when the power goes out and the computer is on it causes system instabillity and that's a very bad deal.
