I ask because my 2 daughters have severe dog and cat allergies.... Yet are fine with peanuts.. Just wanted to know if something like that was a possibility .. developing one later

I had horrible cat allergies as a kid. Then I realized some cats I could actually be around. It was the crap they carry around on their fur that I was allergic to. I have a Siamese that I keep indoors. Have also heard Himalyan fur is supposed to be different, so even people normally allergic don't get an allergic reaction. BTW, no peanut alleriges here.
