here's what the highest property taxes in the state buys you ...not to mention craphole schools and lightrail to nowhere.(10 million riders my ass-how many actually paid to ride?) nice job , mayor. maybe your city council needs to pass more resolutions about Iraq.yeah, that's the ticket.

Sounds like so many other cities in this country. It must be caused by avian flu.

1) That number *is* the paid rides!
2) I live in Eagan and work in Saint Paul yet even I have used that system (round trip between Fort Snelling and Downtown) 7 times this year. four for a a training class downtown and three for baseball games.
3) Is not a light rail to nowhere (go to Buffalo NY to see on of those systems) it goes to two airport terminals, the mall of America and the largest city in the state. 4) It makes it from the MOA to Downtown faster than I can drive it (assuming I keep the speed limits)..

Other than that your criticisms of the Mayor are valid..

I live north. Light rail really is rail to nowhere for anyone who doesn't live in the ring suburbs or in the Twin Cities proper. We just pay for it with state taxes that are already too high. We can thank Governor Turnbuckle for that.
