Here's a question for ole Criscenzo - suppose our ancestors had succeeded in bringing the troops "home" from Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, Lexington?

Would you still be able to stand along Carlsbad Blvd making a fool of yourself?

As the saying goes, "when the going gets tough, the whiners come out and surrender".

the truth is the going hasn't become tough yet.
these people surrendering, at this point, begs
the question, "do they have french in their blood?"

These people can't be Americans! Can They?

No one wants war; everybody hates war; we lost thousands in one day during WWI and WWII - we lose thousands on our highways each day and hundreds more in accidents in the home etc. These activists will not be able to defend themselves from terrorism here BUT will expect you to do so.

The human cost will be worse if we leave Iraq before the job is done. Americans honor their commitments and we won't be back till it's over, over there!

LOL

Should send those ideas to the Protest Warriors.

I'm unimpressed with these numbers. I still recall how many they got into the streets before the war started, that resulted in thousands of Patriots counter protesting them in about euqal number which is unusual considering our side isn't usually the activist type. So far, they haven't been able to replicate those numbers. This tells me the movement hasn't grown, if anything it's shrunk in those motivated to do so.

"I want people to see the human cost of this war," Criscenzo, a Democrat,

Of course, being a Democrat she doesn't have the depth to even consider the cost to the world if the terrorists in Iraq think they drove us out by killing enough Americans. This simplistic thinking simply boggles the mind.

Criscenzo, who organized the demonstration and is a candidate in the 49th Congressional District
_______________________________________________________

yes sir, this is exactly the type of person who will
fit in quite well with the same types of persons who
currently walk the hallowed halls of Congress.

Benedict Arnold would be proud.

Most were bused in. The "normal" antiwar demonstration in Carlsbad is 6-15. Carlsbad is for the most part conservative and Republican but we do have our pockets of idiots.

I was in the area around 2:30 and saw them. Kind of a pathetic looking bunch, IMHO. Lots of older, 1960s aging hippie "West of I-5" retreads. Most of them probably think the leader of Al Qaeda is Ho Chi Minh.

Martin Eder of City Heights, a member of Activist San Diego, was one of the protesters. He said the response among people driving by was overwhelmingly positive, and passers-by saluted "using two fingers far more often than one."

I'll bet they did, dumbass....it's the 'V' for VICTORY, not the peace sign of surrender.

LOL! Sorry! Whenever I tried to access posts to me, I got an enormous ACCESS DENIED. The only way to stop it that I have found is to wait until I get enough new messages so that the problem one is off the page. I have e-mailed Microsoft, set all my internet options for security to allow everything in the world, but still get the message. It's only on my home computer, though, not on the one at work. It's a real pain.
