Thank you for that - I was aware of it since it was linked at
http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/119 (this website has updated information about Prince Charles re Islam).
Prince Charles will not declare himself a Muslim until after he has been crowned king. He's already tried to replicate Constantine's behavior by presiding over a council of Islamic leaders much as Constantine did at Nicea.
Don't forget, Constantine didn't admit to being a Christian until close to his death, many years after he put measures in place making Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire.
I see the same thing happening in the UK.
I agree with that, in the sense that there is no objective right or wrong.
Those who follow it deny those who are blowing up civilians and children in markets, hospitals and wherever are actually "evil" people who must be opposed.
I've run into people that argued that, because morals are relative, you shouldn't call anyone "evil", and further, that one shouldn't judge others.
I then point out that all their "shouldn't"s are themselves moral judgments, and because we both agree they're subjective, I don't have to follow them! I then add that, should I judge others as evil, then I can't possibly be considered objectively evil myself since I'm only expressing my own subjective morality!
I'm perfectly fine with moral relativism. I know what kind of world I subjectively want, and it certainly ISN'T the world of radical, theocratic, Islam.
I also understand that, because of moral relativism, I'm never going to "convert" or convince these people that Western society should be preserved. They want to destroy the West and I don't. That means the one most willing to fight gets the society he wants.
It's actually very easy to push aside all those arguments against action based on moral relativism. Anyone that suggests the moral relativism means one can't oppose anyone means that they can't possibly oppose you. Once you point that out, they have to shut up. Otherwise they contradict themselves.
