You Can Run, But You Can't Hide
After almost 30 years of hiding in Canada, we're getting alleged attempted cop killer Joseph Pannell extradicted from Toronto. This scum being able to hide in Canada for so long is one thing, the main problem is the Feds just know realized who they had after reviewed finger print records from a 1983 detention at the border. This man went on for over 20 more years living his life because law enforcement didn't have its act together.
But, thank goodness, they at least got Martha Stewart. Whew.
Via the CBC:
...Pannell fled to Canada after being charged with the attempted murder of police officer Terrence Knox.
While in Canada, he assumed the name Douglas Gary Freeman, raised a family and got a job at the Toronto Reference Library.
In 1983, he was fined and fingerprinted after getting caught crossing the U.S. border into Canada with an undeclared camera.
More than two decades later, Chicago police reviewing the Knox case discovered that Freeman's prints matched Pannell's.
And we wonder why we're unable to find bin Laden. I know we'll eventually find him, but are we willing to wait 30 years? Maybe at this point we should seriously consider allowing private companies to take over the hunt for bin Laden. They certainly wouldn't be bound by the same 'diplomatic' restrictions we face. Yeah, let's put The Dog on bin Laden. We'll give him whatever millions we have already tagged for the project and set him and his team loose on the world. I have a feeling we'd have the savage in a matter of months.
I wish that some of those elected so-called republicans would have just half of the temerity displayed here.
Her regular radio show is on Saturday evening 7 - 10 PM EST. Not exactly a great time slot I know but.....
Thanks. Gotta link for that?
