Does "Die Hard" count? They pretended to be terrorists, though they were only thieves.

There's also the first few minutes of To Live And Die In L.A.
Worth watching the rest of the movie, though.

Just looked that up on imdb. Sounds interesting...with all those actors, was this an English-language movie?

Sounds like Bardem is going to be in an upcoming movie about Che Guevara (barf--but not playing Che himself), and another movie playing Pablo Escobar.

It was in English..It should have gotten more attention..
Also on a different note. Try another unheard of movie: City of God. Foreign film about crime in Brazil.
If you don't like it..I'll pay for the rental..check it out

You'd think with Malkovich directing, it would have.
I'll look for Cidade de Deus. I love Brazil anyway.

if the media would do an honest Fidel and Che flick it would be worth watching....like Stalin and Beria or something
Bardem as El Padrino should be good.
I wonder who will play Colonel Martinez?

True Lies: Gov. Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis. One scene I hate in that movie is a scene wher Jamie Lee has an Uzi (or Tech-9, or some such), which she drops at the top of some stairs. As the gun rolls down the stairs, it fires repeatedly, which is completely unrealistic, and intended, IMHO to reinforce an irrational fear of guns.

Yes, but it starts off with a terrorist blowing himself up off the roof of the hotel the president's staying in.
Establishing the role of the Secret Service.
And worth watching the rest.

I agree -- well worth watching. Wilhelm Defoe is a great bad guy. William Friedkin a good director.
