Overwhelming day of sorts here PC

No didn't yet get to your toons..actually I haven't been on line much (not even on my own weekend thread here.) will get there. Had Murphy with me today. got new washer/dryer. to be delivered at noon. they came at 4. Someone shot their windshield out prior to their first delivery (believe it was a stray bullet from hunter)& they had to go back get all (12 deliveries) transfered to another truck. Had 4 troublesome deliveries .. before MY TROUBLESOME delivery

Left my place about 6. Lots of complications in the moving out old &in new(of course!) Like the hoses were rusted to the fixtures & the dryer door which was supposed to be "reversed" was NOT, the vent would not come off .. f* when they strapped the old washer on the truck dolly & were removing it, it collapsed with all the rust just giving way.. a mess of parts & rust in the entry level by door with door open to the nice winter air... this is all for starters.

When I did my first load, I put in laundry, soap & began filling the water. I was busy for about 15 minutes & heard a gurgling sound.. looked & the commode in room across from laundry room was bubbling & soon overflowing, I looked down & realized I was standing in several inches of water & the machine was not filling the tub but just water going thru AND to boot either the sever is broke, blocked or the septic system is & so the water filling & going thru the machine was going all over the laundry room, front hallway, bathroom, entry area & the family room. I had a real mess.

It's likely something (maybe a hunk of "rust")broke loose and clogged the fill line.

Either a plumber or a trusted friend with a "snake" can break that clog.

I don't comment much, but I sure do enjoy your tributes to our troops.

You're such an upbeat person. I had never encountered you before I read about the dog you and your friend rescued from the shore while canoeing. What a great story!

Anyway, take care of that clog and thanks for the wonderfully positive daily posts.
