Thanks to the Rabbi. I have Jewish friends who embrace Christmas. They don't necessarily celebrate it for the same reasons, but they respect that I do. That means a lot to me. In turn Chaunakka present no issues for me either.
In my opinion, it's best that Christians and Jews band together to protect our beliefs before the enemy has their way and destroys our freedom to celebrate either.
If you check closely, you will find that Christ celebrated Passover and the Festival of Light, along with all other Jewish festivals. In fact early Christians celebrated Passover until Rome ordered them to stop.
