A strong non-tropical low is centered about 1000 miles WSW of the Azores Islands. The storm appears close to acquiring tropical characteristics, so it could become Tropical Storm Delta at any time. It would, however, offer no immediate threat to any land areas.
Here we go again...
Yep, it's moving south, alright. Earlier today, it was directly across from the Carolinas. Now it's almost directly across from Florida.

Me, too. I even got my degree in it, hence the met...
Heading straight for Texas, from the looks of it!
That's awesome:')
Huh?
If it comes anywhere near South Florida, I'm ready for it. Army Corps of Engineers came and put the tarp on my roof today.
I really enjoyed getting my degree. Meteorologists are a whacked out group but it sure made it a lot of fun.
From which hurricane?! There haven't been any too recently. Holy cow.
Well, I got some more gas for my generator!
Dog Gone's always trying to make them go to Florida.
