I don't agree with this column by Pat and in fact I disagree with Pat on a number of issues but I KNOW his contributions to the conservative movement. I remember the important issues he raised in his Presidential run and his contributions to the GOP platform. As a journalist he called more people on their BS than a dozen other commentators. The people who simply reject him out of hand are missing an opportunity.
On the other hand,I think he is off base in this collumn.
Hardly anyone agrees with you most of the time. Hell, I can't think of anyone I agree with half the time but when political party groupies have to make a boogeyman out of everyone who disagrees with their political idols rather than discuss the matter rationally, that's a real problem for our republic.
