What's you problem?

My problem is more with Ross Perot and I blame his shortsightedness for helping elect Clinton. What's your problem? (he says politely with a smile)

Opposing A unjust, illegal stupid war is the correct thing to do.
Iraq,Vietnam, Korea, WWI were all misstakes.
Your thought process is akin to a German just doing his job, loading People onto death camp trains.
Your the white glove functionary of evil government

The tratiors are anyone who, by word or deed, are obstructing victory.

Victory for whom? If you mean the American people, I/m not so sure.

Pat is all about Pat, pure and simple. I never liked him and don't put much stock in what he has to say. Sore loser, IMHO.

Like the original poster said (furquart, I believe), the time is rapidly approaching where it will be a matter of survival: freedom loving Americans versus the Islamics aided by the America-hating communists/leftists.

All a matter of survival... and I intend to survive or die trying. I WILL NOT give in to the left or to the 7th century savages they seem to love.

What happened to the Pat Buchanan I voted for?

Perhaps you decided to become a GOP groupie.

You forgot the Barf Alert.

"The ugliness in Washington" comes from lying, scheming traitors - i.e., Demorats.

NO. He dodged the draft and wrote letter that said he loathed the military.
I still get sick to my stomach when I think he was ever commander in chief.

Friends, neither Beltway party is going to drain this swamp, because to them it is not a swamp at all, but a protected wetland and their natural habitat. They swim in it, feed in it, spawn in it.

-- Patrick J. Buchanan, "A Plague on Both Your Houses" (The original version)

Go Pat Go!!!

Perhaps you decided to become a GOP groupie.

Excuse me? I exercised my right to vote for the person I thought was most qualified to lead this nation.

By most people capable of rational and reasoned thought.

Do you really think that is you?

This sentence jumped out at me:

"What the Greatest Generation won, the baby boomers are frittering away"

Decide what you want about Buchanan's thesis, but this sentiment speaks volumes... and, yes, I'm a boomer myself, and our generation, in general, has been a cosmic fart in the universal hot tub. The greatness of the civil rights era came from those born in the 1930s and 1940s. The same can be said of those early environmentalists who still called themselves conservationists like Aldo Leopold. My generation? We've given our country huge armies of bastard children, porn on demand, lost souls without a culture to be proud of, latchkey children, a drug epidemic, a desire to see our country fail throughout the world, a worldview painted in shades of gray, cant and insult instead of discussion and learning, ideology instead of knowledge... I shocked one of my profs a few years back by telling her that the world will be a better place when the last old hippie dies. I believe it more than ever.

My nightmare is that the Iraq War is the rough equivalent to the Sicilian Expedition launched by Athens during the Pelopenesian War, and future historians will wrinkle their brows wondering how the freest and most prosperous society on Earth collapsed internally while fighting a rabble of religious fanatics. Hopefully I'm way off base.

The President tried on THREE different occasions to go to Vietnam. The trouble was that he flew a supersonic interceptor designed to shoot down Soviet nuclear bombers, not attack ground targets.

There was a program to convert the jet into a ground attack role for the war, which W repeatedly signed up for. The first two times he was denied on account of his relative lack of experience, the last time because the project was canceled.

I feel your anger, man. It drives me up the wall too, when the sheep bleat the same nonsense they hear on their TVs without thinking about it.

Well, we have to give him credit that he supported the Cold War, which is all the more mystifying.

I know it is not someone who spends his time on this board attacking people who dare oppose Pat Buchanan.

Little story: I was doing a booksigning at CPAC last Feb. for "A Patriot's History of the United States," and I was the first guy up, 9:00 a.m., on the first day. Naturally, I didn't have a big line :)

But Patsy packed out the house with his speech, and had a big line for his books.

My problem is that mindless GOP groupies blame every boogeyman they can invent for their silly support of some RINO wackos who have commandeerd the GOP.
